Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
At Hypermemory, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our services, visit our website, or interact with our API.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you create an account, use our memory API, contact us for support, or sign up for updates. This may include your name, email address, company name, and payment information.
We also collect information automatically when you use our services: API request logs, usage metrics, IP addresses, browser type, and diagnostic data. This data is used solely to operate, secure, and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Hypermemory services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve reliability and performance
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. API request logs are retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes. Memory data stored via our API is retained until you explicitly delete it or close your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@hypermemory.run.
4. Third-Party Services
We use a limited set of third-party services to operate our platform, including payment processing (Stripe), infrastructure hosting (cloud providers), and analytics. Each third-party provider processes data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not share your memory data with any third party except as required to operate the service or comply with law.
5. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features of the site may not function correctly without them.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. Our infrastructure supports on-premises and private cloud deployment for customers with heightened security requirements.
7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing. EU/EEA residents have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what data is collected and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@hypermemory.run.
8. Children's Privacy
Hypermemory is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, by email notification.
